1. Encourage and support parental involvement in students' education and personal growth at Portsmouth Elementary and throughout the PCSD.

2. Provide a safe and friendly school where our children will be encouraged to take an active role in bettering their educational experience.

3. Promote student's self-esteem by celebrating academic and personal achievement.

4. Supplement academic experiences through meaningful yet enriching programs and to assist in providing appropiate materials.

5. Facilitate open communication between home and school.
